Bigelow Range

This hike takes place at Bigelow Range in Maine, which is also known as Bigelow Mountain and Mount Bigelow, which should give an indication of the height and distance available for hiking. The mountain range includes several summits, with Bigelow Range being one of Maine’s highest. Bigelow Range is considered one of the toughest terrains available for hiking.

At 17 miles in length, it is definitely not for the faint of heart. With the highest peak reaching 10,000 feet above ground, and the threat of black flies and the rugged rock formations throughout the trail, it is a challenge to say the least.
