There were 251 homicides in the City of Angels in 2013. There are so many different areas of L.A. and so many crimes going on that they have one of the largest police forces and emergency responder teams in the country.
The year 2015 is off to the races with shootings occurring nearly every day in Los Angeles. Many times in L.A. the police are the ones in a position to be shooting as they deal with crime and violence.
